Late-night shows have been affected by the writer’s strike but not Fox News’ “Gutfeld!” For the host, Greg Gutfeld, everything is business as usual as his writers don’t strike, he strikes the writers. Taking a dig at his fellow late-night hosts, he quipped, “Who knew they had writers? That’s like finding out Brian Stelter had a personal trainer.” Gutfeld then addressed the subject of Batesville, Arkansas, where Hunter Biden is currently in court to reduce the monthly child support payments he owes to Lunden Roberts, the mother of his 4-year-old daughter.

For Gutfeld, Hunter Biden is a deadbeat dad who fathered a child with Lunden Roberts and is now avoiding taking responsibility until he was legally forced to do so. President Joe Biden, Hunter’s father, plays a role in this scandal as he and First Lady Jill Biden are denying their seventh grandchild by leaving her out of the Christmas stockings. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre also refused to answer questions about the matter, specifically Biden not acknowledging his grandchild, during Tuesday’s press briefing.

Gutfeld throws shade at Joe Biden by pointing out his own words when he once said, “there’s no such thing as someone else’s child, our nation’s children are all our children.” But now he is ignoring his own grandkid. Gutfeld also jokes that Hunter should change the name of his daughter to Cosby since the Biden name is sullied. He also pokes fun at Hunter’s attempts to reduce the child support payments since Hunter is pocketing millions from shady foreign deals and cushy board positions.
Gutfeld also mocks Hunter’s painting business and suggests that the buyers might be somebody located in China who paid a half-million-dollar for what looks like a “placemat spackled with Skittle vomit.” Both parties have to disclose their payments, and Hunter has to appear in person for court, made “worse” since he “has to wear pants.” To sum it all up, “Hunter’s personal sexual habits aren’t my concerns. Sleep with all the hookers and strippers you want… but your dad should stop lecturing us on compassion, tolerance, and caring for other people’s brats when he can’t do it himself.”
“Gutfeld!” premiered in April 2021 and has since brought in particularly impressive ratings. It’s the first to overtake “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” since January 2017 and has also topped the show for three months in total viewers and for one month in the A25-54 demo category.
