In unsurprising news, Hunter Biden has received a plea agreement for his actions that does not involve any real punishment and only pertains to his individual actions. It does not cover the massive questions on influence peddling related to his father, Joe Biden, and money laundering. The only real question was how much gall they’d have to do it in light of growing evidence against Biden and targeting former President Donald Trump at record speed. However, former President Trump and Senator Cruz predicted this would happen a while ago.

Senator Cruz stated that if they ever went after Hunter, the key would be if they focused only on individual crimes relating to him and not the case’s broader public concern, which is the connection to Joe Biden. They would then seal off what makes this a matter of public concern, and the millions Hunter made selling access to Daddy. He noted that the millions Hunter Biden made from selling access to his father was at the root of the allegations.
Former President Trump predicted the move in June on Truth Social. Trump claimed it was all about election interference and they’d hit Hunter with something small to make their strike on him look ‘fair.’ It looks as if his prediction was correct. In response to the news, Trump compared it to receiving a traffic ticket. It appears that they are willing to double down on insulating Joe Biden from any negative impact while trying to make Trump look bad. It is all part of the Orwellian gesture, said GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. The Hunter Biden “plea deal” is a fig leaf that pretends “no one is above the law” while putting specific individuals above it. It’s no surprise that people are infuriated with this news and that there are rumblings of a two-tiered system of justice and a disgusting take on Hunter’s accountability.
