New York Times has recently reported some jaw-dropping numbers that will leave you scratching your head. It seems that special counsel Jack Smith and his squad of investigators are on track to spend a mind-boggling $25 million in just one year on their case against former President Donald Trump. That’s enough money to buy a private island or feed a classroom of hungry kids for a decade!
According to sources close to the investigation, Smith and his crew, which consists of a whopping 40 to 60 people, have already burned through $9.2 million in just four short months. And get this: $1.9 million of that was used to pay for personal protection for Smith, his family, and other members of his team. Who knew being a prosecutor was such a dangerous job? Maybe they should consider hiring a few superheroes for backup!

But here’s where it gets even more ridiculous. By the end of the year, Smith is projected to have racked up a bill of at least $25 million. That’s more than the cost of a fancy yacht or a luxury mansion in Beverly Hills! And what exactly is he investigating, you might ask? Well, it’s all about Trump allegedly mishandling some classified documents that he claims were actually declassified. Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill!
This whole situation is just another example of the outrageous lengths that the Justice Department is willing to go to persecute Trump and his supporters. Not only are they wasting taxpayer dollars like there’s no tomorrow, but they’re also using it as an opportunity to stick it to the former president. It’s like they have a personal vendetta against him!
But fear not, fellow conservatives. House Republicans are not sitting idly by while all this nonsense unfolds. They’ve called in FBI Director Christopher Wray for some much-needed grilling about the government’s weaponization against political enemies. And Rep. Matt Gaetz has even introduced a bill to defund Smith’s office. Now that’s what I call taking a stand!
Meanwhile, President Trump is bracing himself for yet another round of indictments. Smith has sent him a letter hinting at possible charges under a Civil War-era voting rights law. It’s all just a desperate attempt to keep Trump’s name in the headlines and damage his chances of making a triumphant political comeback. But guess what? It’s only making him more popular among his loyal Republican supporters! They see right through these politically motivated investigations and they’re not letting it dampen their enthusiasm for their favorite former president.
So, my friends, let’s stay strong and keep fighting against this blatant abuse of power. We won’t let them spend another dime of our hard-earned money on these witch hunts. It’s time to say enough is enough and put an end to this circus once and for all!
