Critics argue that Disney’s handling of the franchise has led to more failures than successes, leaving diehard fans disappointed and frustrated.
During a recent episode of the podcast, MMA fighter Matt Serra expressed his frustration with the direction of the Disney Star Wars brand, particularly in relation to the Disney Plus series “Ahsoka.” Serra criticized the portrayal of “strong” female characters in the series, arguing that it did not align with the essence of the original Star Wars.
The series “Ahsoka,” which features the character Ahsoka Tano, a female Jedi warrior, has received attention for its treatment of male protagonist Ezra Bridger from the animated series “Rebels.” Serra highlighted instances where female characters outdid Ezra, including the transfer of his lightsaber to a female character.
