A federal magistrate has ruled that the ban on so-called "ghost guns" cannot be enforced, dealing a significant blow to the Biden administration and a substantial victory to common sense. At last, some sense prevails!

Judge Reed O'Connor, who presides over the Northern District of Texas, made this sensible decision last week, according to The Epoch Times. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) claimed they had the authority to regulate undeveloped gun parts and attempted to regulate manufactured firearms without serial numbers. Fortunately, however, Judge O'Connor dissented.
He stated that the government cannot regulate partially manufactured components of firearms without violating federal law. Bravo, Judge O'Connor! It's about time someone opposed the ATF's overreach. They attempted to exceed the legal limits of their authority, but they were placed in their place.
Judge O'Connor also pointed out the logical flaw in the ATF's argument. They sought to regulate a component as a "frame or receiver" despite determining that it was not one. How bizarre! It is gratifying to see a judge use logic to refute the fallacious arguments of the anti-gun movement.
The case was initiated by the Firearms Policy Coalition, a pro-Second Amendment group, which applauded Judge O'Connor's decision. As it should be! This decision is a win for all law-abiding firearms owners, who should be able to exercise their rights without undue government interference.
Sadly, the Biden administration did not agree with this decision. Director of the Second Amendment Foundation Adam Kraut correctly noted that this is yet another instance of the administration's ongoing efforts to transgress its authority and restrict the rights of law-abiding citizens. The fact that they are so determined to undermine our constitutional rights is regrettable.
Fear not, however, radicals! This decision serves as a reminder that we must continue to fight for our Second Amendment rights, even in the face of a power-hungry government. We must never allow anyone, particularly the Biden administration, to strip us of our Second Amendment rights. Continue to be vigilant and resist their radical agenda!
