The Veep, Kamala Harris, recently had an interview where she pulled her best disappearing act when asked about limitations on abortion. Margaret Brennan, the moderator of “Face the Nation,” wanted to know Harris’ stance on the matter. But instead of giving a straight answer, she decided to do some verbal acrobatics.
Harris started by saying they just want to restore the protections of Roe v. Wade, as if that explains everything. But Brennan wasn’t having it and pressed for more details. She wanted to know at what point in a pregnancy should the access to abortion be cut off. It was a simple question, but Harris decided it was time to tap-dance around it.
She claimed they just want to put back the protections that were originally in place. But Brennan, not satisfied with Harris’ vague answer, pushed further. She asked if there should be a specific definition of when the guarantee ends. Like a magician avoiding a trick gone wrong, Harris tried to deflect by saying they want to put the protections of Roe v. Wade into law.
But Brennan wasn’t going to let her slip away so easily. She explained how Republicans accuse Democrats of supporting abortion up to birth because of the lack of a precise date. And you know what’s hilarious? Both Harris and Brennan laughed it off as if it’s the funniest thing they’ve ever heard. Talk about out of touch!
Let’s not forget what former Democrat Governor Ralph Northam of Virginia said about his support for late-term abortions. He thinks it’s perfectly fine to terminate a pregnancy when the baby is about to pop out. He even described the process, as if it’s some kind of twisted nursery rhymed. It’s truly sickening.
So, while Harris tries to dance around the question and laugh it off, the truth remains. Democrats like Northam and even President Biden himself, who urges Congress to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would expand abortion on demand throughout all stages of pregnancy, have shown their true colors. They support the termination of innocent lives right up until the very moment of birth.
But that’s the Democratic agenda for you. They claim to be champions of women’s rights, but where are the rights of the unborn children? It’s clear that they prioritize political ideology over the sanctity of life. So, while Harris continues to play her disappearing act, conservatives will continue to stand up for the voiceless and fight against this gruesome practice.
