In a not-so-shocking turn of events, it seems that conservatives simply cannot catch a break these days. After the nail-biting 2018 Senate race between Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz and former Democratic Rep. Beto O’Rourke, you would think the liberals would give it a rest. But oh no, they just can’t help themselves.

Now, a political action committee (PAC) called Mothers Against Greg Abbott has been formed to take down none other than our beloved Sen. Cruz. Can you believe it? These leftists just can’t handle the fact that Cruz managed to secure a victory against O’Rourke. So, they’re spending their time and energy, not to mention a whopping $1.6 million, on lawn signs and anti-Cruz propaganda. I mean, can’t they find something better to do with their money? Like maybe support a candidate who actually has a chance of winning?

The leader of this anti-Cruz crusade, Nancy Thompson, seems to have an ax to grind with our senator. She claims he isn’t voting for Texas, as if that makes any sense. Last time I checked, Cruz has been fighting tooth and nail to protect our conservative values and stand up against the disastrous policies of Joe Biden. But I guess Thompson would rather have someone who falls in line with the liberal agenda. It just goes to show you that these lefties care more about their hatred for Republicans than they do about what’s best for our great state of Texas.
And it doesn’t stop there, folks! Mothers Against Greg Abbott is expanding its horizons and targeting our very own Democratic state Rep. Shawn Thierry. You would think the liberals would be rejoicing at the chance to have a Democrat in office, but nope, that’s not good enough for them. Thierry has had the gall to support banning the genital mutilation of minors and removing sexually explicit material from schools. How dare she try to protect our children from harm? Thompson is upset with Thierry for not using her critical thinking skills, but I’d argue that it’s Thompson who needs a lesson in logic.
But wait, there’s more! Thompson and her merry band of do-gooders aren’t just limiting their antics to Texas. They’re also targeting Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema for being…wait for it…too moderate. That’s right, Sinema had the audacity to leave the Democratic Party and vote against their precious agenda. Thompson seems to think that women should vote for women just because they’re women, regardless of their actual beliefs. Well, sorry Thompson, but I prefer to vote for candidates who align with my values, rather than just checking a box based on gender.
So, there you have it, folks. The left is at it again, spending their time, money, and energy on futile attempts to unseat conservatives. But I have news for them: it’s not going to work. We conservatives are resilient, and we won’t let these misguided efforts deter us. So keep fighting the good fight, Sen. Cruz, and know that we’re standing behind you every step of the way.
