The liberal ladies of “The View” took a jab at former President Donald Trump’s recent financial woes, chuckling and snickering at the news that he’s struggling to raise $454 million bond to comply with a New York court ruling in his civil fraud case involving New York Attorney General Letitia James. The Trumpster’s legal team has been scrambling, approaching a whopping 30 companies, to no avail, as they struggle to find an insurer willing to accept property as collateral for the hefty court bond.

Of course, the cackling coven on “The View” couldn’t contain their glee at the thought of Trump Tower being seized. Sunny Hostin was practically rubbing her hands together with glee at the thought of seeing “chains on Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue.” Whoopi Goldberg, the wise leader of the leftist ladies, pretended to be upset but couldn’t help but revel in the situation, asking if Trump needed a tissue. Joy Behar, never one to miss a chance to take a dig at the former president, suggested that Russia and Saudi Arabia might be the only ones willing to lend him money since “they know he doesn’t pay his bills back.” How droll.
The hosts also speculated on whether Trump could turn to his wealthy son-in-law, Jared Kushner, for help. Of course, they couldn’t resist taking a swipe at Fox News in the midst of their revelry, with former White House communications director Alyssa Farah Griffin poking fun at commentator Mark Levin for not “ponying up” any donations to the former president. Sarah Haines joined in, scoffing at the idea that anyone would even consider lending money to Trump, implying that he’s somehow toxic and radioactive, unworthy of anyone’s financial support.
The New York attorney general’s office responded to Trump’s request for a stay in the civil fraud judgment by highlighting that it’s no big deal for even billion-dollar judgments to be fully bonded on appeal, depicting Trump’s objections as a mere tantrum to avoid selling off his assets. But none of these details seemed to faze the liberal ladies of “The View” as they continued to revel in Trump’s financial predicament.
The ladies begged the question of why no Republican billionaires have come to Trump’s aid, insinuating that no one wants to lend him money because he’s notorious for stiffing people. It’s easy to see the bias and mockery dripping from their every word, as they gleefully paint Trump as a pariah in need. But the truth is, their gleeful mockery only shows their own bias and lack of empathy for someone facing financial challenges. Oh, the way the left revels in someone else’s misfortune. It’s as predictable as the sun rising in the morning.
