In a bold move that’s making waves in the political world, Louisiana is now joining the ranks of states considering booting former President Donald Trump from the state’s primary ballot. Ashley Reeb, not one to shy away from stirring up trouble, took matters into her own hands by filing a lawsuit against Louisiana’s Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin, demanding that Trump be given the boot due to his involvement in the January 6 riot. According to the lawsuit, Trump’s actions and inaction on that chaotic day disqualify him from holding any office in the good ol’ U.S. of A.

This lawsuit isn’t an isolated incident, folks. Oh no, it’s a trend that’s been popping up in states like Michigan, Rhode Island, Minnesota, Florida, New Hampshire, Oregon, and more.
Colorado even took the plunge and ruled in favor of the challenge! Now, the whole shebang is expected to take a spin before the bigwigs at the U.S. Supreme Court.
Trump, never one to hold back on speaking his mind, has made it clear that he’s not a fan of these efforts. He’s been shouting from the rooftops that it’s all just a pathetic gambit to rig the election. And he’s not the only one with his knickers in a twist over this hullabaloo – his Republican primary rivals have also been shaking their heads at the whole darn thing.
Even former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a fella who usually can’t seem to find anything nice to say about Trump, has come to his defense in this wild ride of a situation.
