It’s almost as if they haven’t realized that the same audience they’ve tirelessly worked to alienate isn’t going to take them seriously anymore. They could easily win back some respect by simply owning up to their undeniable leaning toward the Democrats. But alas, here we are, stuck with headlines that could only make a dedicated conservative chuckle in disbelief.
Take, for instance, the recent buzz around President Trump’s birthday and the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary, which coincidentally fall on June 14. The media latched onto this like a toddler to a candy bar, spinning the story into something that suggests the military parade is merely a gimmick for Trump’s birthday bash. The Hill, in all its wisdom, decided to play up the coincidence instead of savoring the celebration of American patriotism. It’s a grand spectacle no matter how you slice it, yet they want to make it a story about “Trump the birthday boy” instead of the milestone achievement of our armed forces.

What’s comical is the gullibility of the media institute in trying to evoke the “Trump is a dictator” theme again. One must wonder how many times they’ll attempt this narrative before realizing that it falls flatter than a pancake. The public has shown time and again that these ridiculous accusations barely hold any water. So what’s driving them to continue? A persistent denial of reality, perhaps? It’s almost reminiscent of that old rabbit trying to pull a hat trick—it may not have a real rabbit, but it sure has a lot of theatrics.
The glaring truth remains that millions of Americans are seeking information from more reliable sources, tired of the dog-and-pony show established by network giants. Instead of looking inward at their own failures in credibility and trustworthiness, the media continues to point fingers at their audience. If they truly want to regain the audience they’ve lost, it would do them well to embrace a refreshing dose of honesty. But judging by their current trajectory, it appears a thick haze of denial will keep their readership firmly on the alternatives. And as this military parade approaches, it’s just another golden opportunity for Americans to celebrate their freedom while chuckling at the media’s futile attempts to shape the narrative.
