Once again, Mayor Adams showed his tough-on-crime approach by calling out the “goons” who were occupying Hamilton Hall. His remarks the morning after the NYPD was asked to clear out the troublemakers really highlighted the seriousness of the situation. It’s about time someone took a stand against these lawless individuals who think they can just disrupt the peace and get away with it.

Mayor Adams isn’t going to stand for chaos and disorder in our city, and it’s refreshing to see a leader who isn’t afraid to speak out against those who do wrong. The fact that Columbia had to ask for the NYPD’s help to deal with these troublemakers is a clear indication that the situation had gotten out of hand. Thank goodness Mayor Adams and the NYPD are taking action to restore order and protect the law-abiding citizens of the city.
It’s clear that Mayor Adams understands the stakes involved in maintaining law and order, and his decisive action against the “goons” occupying Hamilton Hall sends a strong message. This is the kind of leadership we need in this city, someone who isn’t afraid to stand up for what’s right and ensure that the rule of law is upheld.
