Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy didn’t let losing the speaker of the House position halt his unwavering praise for former President Donald Trump. Despite the changes, McCarthy remains staunch in his support for Trump’s potential in the 2024 election, expressing that Trump’s strength surpasses his prior presidential bid. Conversely, McCarthy criticized President Biden’s perceived shortcomings, claiming the Commander-in-Chief is faltering.

In addition to his adamant backing of Trump, McCarthy didn’t mince words in his assessment of the recent political shake-ups within the Republican party. He disclosed his views on potential GOP contenders, such as Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, while also taking aim at South Carolina Senator Tim Scott’s vice presidential prospects.
Furthermore, McCarthy highlighted the age factor as a potential obstacle for President Biden, inferring that the President’s advanced years may hinder his ability to lead.
