MSNBC’s New Low: Fear Wins Votes?

Donny Deutsch, an analyst at the left-leaning network MSNBC, suggested that President Joe Biden should resort to fear-mongering to defeat former President Donald Trump in the upcoming 2024 election. Yes, you heard that right – apparently, according to Deutsch, scaring the “you know what” out of people is the way to win votes.

In his wild idea, Deutsch proposed that former top officials like John Kelly and James Mattis should come forward and warn the American public about the “scary” consequences of a Trump victory. They should apparently make people believe that their very bodies and their entire way of life are in grave danger if Trump were to be re-elected. It’s almost as if he thinks Americans are easily scared little kittens who need big, tough generals to hold their hands through the democratic process.

Americans deserve to be treated with respect and presented with actual policies and solutions, not with doomsday prophecies about what might happen if the other guy wins. It’s insulting to voters’ intelligence to suggest that they can’t make informed decisions without being terrified into submission.

President Biden should focus on actually delivering results, creating jobs, securing the border, and upholding law and order instead of trying to scare people into voting for him. The American people are smart enough to see through these desperate tactics, and they deserve a leader who trusts in their ability to make informed choices based on facts, not fear-based propaganda.
