Governor Josh Shapiro, a young Democratic hopeful, can’t seem to prop up President Biden’s approval ratings, according to the latest bombshell reports. Despite Shapiro’s gushing praise for Biden’s leadership and his scathing remarks about former President Donald Trump, Biden’s popularity is still plummeting faster than a lead balloon. The governor has been singing Biden’s praises all over Pennsylvania, from fire stations to campaign receptions, but it looks like even his enthusiastic support isn’t enough to turn the tide for the floundering president.
The governor’s approval rating stands at a respectable 60%, nearly 20 points higher than Biden’s in the Keystone State. Ouch! That’s gotta hurt. Biden, who spent his early years in Scranton and represented Delaware for over 30 years, has close ties to Pennsylvania, but it seems like the voters aren’t feeling the love. And even with Biden’s frequent visits and promises of stable leadership, his approval ratings continue to nosedive. Looks like even a hometown hero like Biden can’t catch a break these days.

Rooney admits that there’s “no strong alliances” these days and that “nobody’s popularity will be transferable.” It seems like even the loyal support of popular Democratic governors like Shapiro might not be enough to rescue Biden from his sinking ship. The fact that several recent polls have Biden losing to Trump has sent shockwaves through the Democratic Party, leading to a desperate scramble to change up their campaign tactics.
