This guy has no shame, bypassing federal appeals courts and going straight to the big dogs to settle the matter of whether Trump is immune from prosecutions related to his time in office. Can you believe the nerve of this guy?
But hold on to your hats, because the Justices wasted no time in responding to Smith’s request. They’re actually considering expediting the whole shebang and have ordered Trump’s legal team to file briefs by December 20th. Talk about fast-tracking a political hit job!
And get this – Mr. Smith is claiming that this issue is critical to democracy. Give us a break! The only thing critical here is the Special Counsel’s desperate attempt to keep Trump out of office and make him pay for daring to challenge the 2020 election results. It’s like they’re trying to make him the scapegoat for everything!
Now, Mr. Smith is making a big fuss about how no one is above the law, especially a former President accused of federal crimes. He’s throwing around fancy words like “subvert” and “vital to our democracy,” but we see right through it. This is just another witch hunt aimed at taking down Trump and his 150 million supporters. The nerve!
And let’s not forget about Trump’s legal team claiming presidential immunity should shield him from the charges. It’s a pretty solid argument, if you ask us. But of course, a federal judge ruled against Trump’s claim, and now the feds are trying to push the trial forward before the 2024 election. Talk about dirty politics!
And what’s this about Trump’s campaign spokesperson calling Smith’s request a “Hail Mary” to stop Trump from returning to the White House? It’s like they’re not even trying to hide their agenda anymore. They’re just throwing around baseless accusations and trying to make Trump look like the bad guy.
The whole thing reeks of political motivation and underhanded tactics. The Special Counsel and his cronies will stop at nothing to tarnish Trump’s name and keep him out of office. But mark our words, President Trump will continue to fight for justice and oppose these authoritarian tactics. You can bet on it!
