But a new book by Jerry Dunleavy and James Hasson, titled “Kabul: The Untold Story of Biden’s Fiasco and the American Warriors Who Fought to the End,” has uncovered the truth. The book references Pentagon watchdog reports and public statements from Biden administration officials, all of which confirm that the Taliban did, in fact, attack U.S. troops before the withdrawal.
One such report from the Lead Inspector General revealed that the Taliban “conducted limited attacks on coalition bases.” In a specific instance, they even fired rockets at an airport in Khost, which housed U.S. troops. Another attack occurred at Kandahar air base, where several hundred U.S. troops were stationed.
This new information not only exposes the dishonesty of the Biden Administration’s narrative, but it also raises serious questions about the credibility of Secretary Austin and Chairman Milley. How can we trust their testimonies when they directly contradict known facts?
