In a recent twist, the liberal media has decided to play the race card in defense of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who is under fire for her inappropriate relationship with one of the prosecutors working on the case against former President Donald Trump. They are trying to distract from the real issue by claiming that criticism of Willis is motivated by racism and sexism, not her misconduct.

It’s no surprise that the left is resorting to such tactics to shield Willis from accountability. The New York Times and Associated Press are pushing the narrative that Willis, who engaged in a romance with prosecutor Nathan Wade, is being unfairly targeted because she is a black woman. They have even gone as far as interviewing other black women to echo this sentiment.
But let’s call a spade a spade here. Willis dug her own grave with her questionable actions, and now her allies in the media are rushing to her defense with baseless accusations of racism and sexism. This is a classic liberal move to evade responsibility and deflect attention from the real issue at hand.
The fact is, Willis should be held accountable for her actions, regardless of her race or gender. The idea that black professionals should be immune from scrutiny when they mess up is ludicrous and undermines the principles of justice and equality. It’s insulting to suggest that black women cannot be expected to uphold the same standards of conduct as everyone else.
Despite the media’s attempts to paint her as a victim of discrimination, Willis will have to face the consequences of her actions. Whether or not she is removed from the election interference case, her reputation has already taken a hit. Playing the race card won’t save her from the fallout of her own poor decisions.
Let’s not fall for the left’s attempt to manipulate the narrative and shield Willis from accountability. It’s time to focus on the facts and hold public officials, regardless of their background, to the same standards of integrity and professionalism. The truth should prevail, regardless of the political games being played by the activist media.
