President Joe Biden may present himself as a harmless, bumbling old grandpa in public, but according to a report from Axios, there’s a whole different side to him behind closed doors. It turns out Biden likes to let loose with angry outbursts and colorful language that would make a sailor blush.

Former and current staffers have reported being on the receiving end of Biden’s wrath, with the 80-year-old president dropping f-bombs left and right. Some of his choice phrases include gems like, “God dammit, how the f**k don’t you know this?!”, “Don’t f**king bullsh*t me!”, and my personal favorite, “Get the f**k out of here!” These tirades have been so intense that some aides refuse to meet with the president one-on-one and opt to bring a buddy along for support.
According to one official, nobody is safe from Biden’s temper tantrums. He even went off on his former COVID czar Jeff Zients, who now serves as his chief of staff, during a shortage of testing kits back in 2021. When asked about the incident, Zients’ spokesperson played coy, saying they wouldn’t comment on any internal conversations between Jeff and the president. Classic dodge.
But this isn’t anything new. Biden has a long history of being an “egomaniacal autocrat,” as one former staffer put it. Even back when he was a senator, Biden managed his staff through fear and wasn’t afraid to let loose with some profanity-laden tirades. In fact, one former aide recalls Biden telling them to “get the f**k out of the car” when they suggested it was time to make some fundraising calls. Talk about a short fuse.
Sometimes, Biden’s angry outbursts even make it into the public eye. Remember when Breitbart News published an article in 2022 highlighting all the times Biden shouted down voters who asked him about his family’s shady business dealings? He told one voter to “get your words straight” and called another one a “damn liar, man.” So much for that folksy Uncle Joe image.
And who could forget when Biden got snippy with a reporter who questioned his mental fitness during an interview in 2020? He responded with, “C’mon man. That’s like you saying before you got on this program you take a test where you’re taking cocaine or not?” and asked the interviewer if they were a “junky.” Classy.
But perhaps the most entertaining outburst was caught on a hot mic when Biden referred to Fox News’s White House Correspondent Peter Doocy as a “stupid son of a bi*ch.” Now that’s presidential decorum right there.
It’s clear that Joe Biden has a temper to match his declining mental state. He may try to hide behind his folksy, gaffe-prone persona, but when he lets loose, it’s a sight to behold. Who needs a reality TV show when you have Biden in the White House? It’s like a never-ending episode of “Angry Grandpa.”
