RNC Reports Record Border Crossings Under Biden Administration

The Republican National Committee is keeping close tabs on the increasing number of people who are coming into the United States without permission. They report that in March, 189,372 undocumented immigrants were stopped while trying to cross the U.S.-Mexico border. This is the 37th month in a row that these encounters have surpassed 150,000 during President Biden’s time in office. The chairman of the Republican National Committee, Michael Whatley, said that President Biden’s open border policies have led to high rates of migrant crime all across the country. He mentioned that many illegal immigrants are facing charges of human trafficking, murder, and sexual assault. Whatley stated that the Democratic policies prioritize illegal immigrants over Americans and that President Trump would make America safe again.

The Republican National Committee presented some concerning statistics based on data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. They noted that there are around 6,300 encounters at the border each day, a significant increase compared to previous years. The committee highlighted that more than 9.4 million illegal immigrants have crossed the border since President Biden took office and that an average of 5,000 illegal immigrants are being released into the U.S. every day.

In other news, independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. shared that his campaign has gained the necessary access to appear on the ballot in Michigan. Kennedy’s campaign noted that Michigan is expected to be a closely contested swing state in the 2024 presidential election. Kennedy’s appeal includes his efforts to restore the Great Lakes region and ensure a thriving fishing economy and ecosystem.

The Heritage Foundation is also making moves to counter the left-leaning population in politics. They have lined up appearances by former British Prime Minister Liz Truss to discuss her new book and a public program titled “Defunding the Left: The Strategy to Save America” featuring conservative leaders.

Additionally, a midcentury modern house called The West House was listed for sale in Pacific Palisades, California. The property, built in 1948 and designed by architect Rodney Walker, is priced at $8.9 million and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Finally, a poll revealed that 43% of registered U.S. voters would vote for former President Donald Trump in a hypothetical match involving him, President Biden, and independent candidates. 39% would vote for President Biden, while 8% would vote for independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
