Three tenacious young ladies from Roanoke College in Virginia are standing up against their university after it made the mind-boggling decision to allow a male-bodied athlete who identifies as “transgender” to join their women’s swim team. *Gasp* Well, isn’t that just dandy?

These courageous captains, Kate Pearson, 19, Lily Mullens, 20, and Bailey Gallagher, 20, recently spilled the beans to the Daily Mail about their “transgender” teammate’s sudden desire to dominate the women’s swim team. Apparently, the fella thought it was a splendid idea to switch teams after taking a break last season for “transition care.” As you can imagine, the girls were not too thrilled about this turn of events.

Now, one would think that the university, being the responsible adults and all, would step in and handle this sticky situation. But oh no, they passed the buck right back to the girls, essentially saying, “Hey, you deal with it!” Talk about passing the pancake of responsibility! The girls found themselves in a pickle, having to confront this “trans” swimmer themselves. And what did they get in return? Sob stories and threats of self-harm. How delightful! It’s enough to make your head spin.
The girls reached their breaking point. They felt like they were living in a never-ending episode of a reality TV show. Emotionally drained, physically exhausted, mentally fried—these ladies endured it all. It was like the longest month of their lives (and they’re just in college!). Can’t these “trans” swimmers swim with their own kind? Is that too much to ask?
In their frustration, the team is calling on the NCAA and other colleges to step up and create some clear-cut rules for situations like these. It seems like common sense, but apparently, common sense isn’t so common anymore. Can we please, pretty please, have a blueprint for dealing with this kind of pandemonium? It’s a simple request, really.
The situation at Roanoke College is eerily similar to what happened at the University of Pennsylvania with the infamous Will “Lia” Thomas saga. Female swimmers were forced to compete against Thomas and even share a locker room. Unsurprisingly, Thomas ended up winning races against actual females and snagging a Division I Title. Talk about a slap in the face for deserving female athletes! It’s like being tripped at the finish line by your own teammate. How unfair can you get?
In the end, these brave young ladies at Roanoke College are standing tall. They refuse to be overshadowed by the ever-expanding world of “transgender” athletes encroaching on women’s sports. It’s time for a little sanity amidst the chaos. Let the women compete against women, and let the men, well, you know, compete with men. It’s not rocket science, folks. It’s the only fair way to play the game.
