Thanks to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act wiping out the ridiculous taxes on suppressors and short-barreled firearms, we’re finally seeing a path to freedom. The good folks at the NRA, Firearms Policy Coalition, and brave citizens of Missouri are pushing forward, challenging a law that’s outdated and unconstitutional.

The National Firearms Act is like an overzealous hall monitor trying to regulate what simply doesn’t need regulating. The initial crutch of their argument—the power to tax—has been kicked out from under them. Now, without that tax, can they really justify the oversight they’re clinging to? It’s time self-respecting Americans question the very basis of these meddlesome restrictions.
The whole charade of registering firearms like suppressors and short-barreled rifles is insulting. This is not just about time-consuming paperwork. It’s intrusive government overreach at its worst. All to regulate tools that are rarely ever used for crime anyway. Tell me, when did we start treating healthy, sane citizens like criminals just because they choose to exercise their Second Amendment rights?
You’d think reading the Constitution was rocket science to these bureaucrats. Historical context clearly sides with the Constitution, not an overbearing Uncle Sam poking his nose in your gun cabinet. Back in the days of our founding fathers, regulations were meant for militias, not citizens keeping their homes safe.
The reality is simple—freedom means less government poking and prodding. This lawsuit will shed light on the tangled mess of unnecessary gun control laws.
