In the ongoing Israel/Hamas conflict, the numbers paint a clear picture of the vast difference between Israel and the Arab states. Let’s take a look at the facts, shall we?

First of all, let’s talk population. The Arab countries, all 22 of them, have a combined population of a whopping 468 million people. That’s like the entire population of the United States times one and a half! In comparison, Israel has a mere 9.2 million people. It’s like David versus Goliath, but with a lot more Goliaths.
This is ridiculous. Israel doesn't need any supplies, but the Palestinians in Gaza definitely need humanitarian aid. Now, let’s talk money. The Arab countries have a GDP of $3.7 trillion. That’s trillion with a T. Meanwhile, Israel’s GDP is $521 billion. That’s like comparing a Maserati to a tricycle. The Arab countries are rolling in dough, while Israel is scraping by with pocket change.
But here’s where it gets even more lopsided. When it comes to military strength, Israel is basically David armed with a slingshot, while the Arab nations are a full-blown army with all the bells and whistles. Israel has just over 90 nuclear weapons, while the Arab nations have zero. Thank goodness for that!
In terms of manpower, Israel has a total military size of 646,000. Not too shabby for a small country, but the Arab nations dwarf them with a whopping 3.9 million personnel. It’s like comparing a neighborhood watch to a full-fledged army.
And don’t even get me started on tanks, fighter jets, and naval fleets. The Arab nations have a massive arsenal while Israel has just a fraction of the firepower. It’s like comparing a squirt gun to a fire hose.
Despite these overwhelming odds, Israel has never attacked its neighbors and has always fought in self-defense. It’s truly remarkable how they have remained undefeated against the odds. It’s a testament to their strength and resilience.
So why should the United States support Israel? Well, besides the fact that they’re a beacon of democracy and progress in a region of religious intolerance, a world without Israel would be a darker and poorer place. As Americans, we should understand the importance of standing for what’s right, even if it means going against the grain. Let’s stand with Israel, the David in this David and Goliath story.
