As of Sunday, Sound of Freedom has grossed a whopping $172,813,772 at the domestic box office, putting it just ahead of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’s $172,624,353 domestic total. This unexpected triumph has solidified Sound of Freedom as the biggest surprise hit of the year, beating out other films like Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One, Elemental, and The Flash. Take that, Hollywood liberals!
Released on July 4th, Sound of Freedom reclaimed America’s independence from lackluster films by overtaking the latest Indiana Jones flick at the domestic box office. Even though Indiana Jones is backed by the Walt Disney Company, it has drastically underperformed, only pulling in $60 million on its opening weekend.
