Governor Chris Sununu, a fierce critic of the former president, has made a bold prediction about the 2024 presidential election. Sununu is rooting for former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley in the Republican Party’s 2024 primary race, even though she stumbled in the New Hampshire primary against Trump. The governor believes in Haley’s chances, especially in her home state of South Carolina. He’s even betting that she’d “trounce” Biden if given the chance. Confidence is oozing from Sununu as he touts Haley’s abilities and talks up a potential nail-biter of an election if Trump were to win the nomination.
