Now, Trump is already starting things off with a bang by snagging a major win in the purple state of Virginia. Looks like Nikki Haley, the GOP’s last hope in the primary race (besides Trump, of course), didn’t stand a chance. Ouch. The New York Times is predicting that Trump will dominate with a whopping 27-point lead.
But hold onto your hats, folks, because the real prize is in California and Texas, where a boatload of delegates are up for grabs. And you can bet your bottom dollar that Trump is going to sweep them up faster than you can say “Make America Great Again.”
As for Haley, well, she’s got some tough decisions to make. Does she throw in the towel and lend her support to Trump, keep on truckin’ until the money well runs dry, or maybe even consider a third party run? Tough choices, tough choices. But hey, stranger things have happened in politics, right?
Trump is itching for a rematch with Biden in November, and he’s not pulling any punches when it comes to Haley. Seems like he’s had it up to here with her criticisms and is ready to steamroll his way to the top. Haley might not want to admit it, but it’s starting to look like game over for her.
