The Supreme Court is about to drop a bombshell on this Super Tuesday like never before! Forget the usual drama of candidates sniping at each other or trying to out-promise each other with free stuff. No, this time it’s all about whether former President Donald Trump should be on Colorado’s Republican primary ballot. This is bigger than a 50% off sale at the local bank!

If the Supreme Court rules against Trump, then all the votes for him in Colorado and Maine might as well be used as birdcage liner. The Colorado Republican Party Chairman, Dave Williams, is fuming about it, saying that the court’s decision would be a direct hit to democracy. And you know what? He’s right! Let the people vote for who they want, for crying out loud! What’s next, are they going to start disqualifying President Joe Biden in red states? This is an outrage!
And let’s not forget that other states are taking their cue from Colorado and Maine, which is causing all sorts of chaos. An Illinois court already decided to kick Trump off the ballot there because of the Capitol attack. But at least some smart folks are saying that the Supreme Court should just stick to interpreting the law and stop worrying about how their decision might make people feel. It’s about time someone said it! Let’s not forget folks, this is supposed to be a democracy, not a circus!
The Supreme Court can’t be letting individual states have so much power in an election. That’s just bananas! Even Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan, nominated by that other guy, recognized how wild it would be for Colorado to have that much control. It’s like letting the school bully be the hall monitor. It’s just not right!
On top of all of this, there’s a whole bunch of states holding primaries on Super Tuesday, and it’s all in disarray because of this mess. Colorado’s Williams is talking about ignoring the primary results and using some state party thing to allocate the Republican National Convention delegates. It’s like a whole ‘nother language! But let’s hope that the Supreme Court can figure this out and put an end to this madness once and for all. After all, isn’t that what they’re there for?
