In a victorious turn of events, the full 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, hailing from the magnificent city of New Orleans, has overturned an outrageous ruling demanding the removal of Texas’s floating barriers in the Rio Grande River. These barriers were Texas’s brave attempt to combat the rampant wave of illegal border crossings swarming into the state. Bravo, Texas!

It’s no secret that the Biden administration has been engaged in a fierce tug-of-war with Texas Governor Greg Abbott over control of our precious border. The previous order to move the floating barrier drew the ire of our neighbors down south in Mexico, who clearly can’t handle a little tough love. But thankfully, the 5th Circuit Court has put its foot down, restoring sanity and security to our beloved Lone Star State.
These floating barriers, consisting of linked buoys firmly anchored in concrete along the border, stretch a whopping three soccer field-lengths. That’s one impressive barricade, folks! It effectively seals off approximately 1,000 feet of the Rio Grande River, creating a much-needed obstacle for those attempting to break the law by crossing into our great state.
Governor Abbott has been railing against the Biden Administration’s disastrous border policies, rightly blaming them for the chaos unfolding on our doorstep. And he’s not wrong. The Biden Administration’s negligence and inaction have left states like Texas with no choice but to take matters into their own hands. It’s like we elected a president who cares more about appeasing the global open borders crowd than protecting American citizens. Shocking, I know.
But let’s not forget the audacity of the Biden Administration. Not only are they failing to control our border, but they’re actively busing illegal aliens into “sanctuary” jurisdictions across the country. It’s a slap in the face to every hardworking American and a clear violation of our immigration laws. Democrat officials in these cities are, predictably, whining about the consequences of their own misguided policies. Cry me a river!
Now, I know what you’re thinking: “Shouldn’t the federal government be handling our borders?” Well, in theory, yes. But when the federal government turns a blind eye to the invasion happening before our very eyes, what choice do we have? Texas has stepped up to the plate, and we’re hitting home runs in the name of homeland security.
Let’s take a moment to recognize the real heroes in all of this: the Texas National Guard and those brave Texans who have taken a stand against Biden’s border madness. They’ve had the audacity to actually enforce the law and protect our sovereignty. It’s a shame that those tasked with upholding the law on the federal level are too busy clamping down on Texas, removing barricades, and demanding access to city parks that we’ve wisely fenced off. Is this what our country has come to?
So, what’s next in this epic battle for border control? The decision by the 5th Circuit Court could still be appealed, but let’s not dwell on that possibility. Instead, let’s celebrate this victory for Texas and the American people. The fight isn’t over, but the Lone Star State stands tall, proving that when our leaders fail us, we can rely on our own resilience and determination to secure our borders.
