On Super Tuesday, an overwhelming 96% of Republican primary voters voiced support for Proposition 12, signaling a strong mandate for the state legislature to enact the citizenship verification requirement. However, the Republican Speaker of the House, Dade Phelan, failed to prioritize this critical election integrity measure, much to the dismay of GOP voters who expected decisive action on this issue.
