Abbott boldly points out that the Founding Fathers, like James Madison and Alexander Hamilton, intended for states to have the power to defend themselves against lawless presidents like Biden, who have allowed cartels to bring in millions of illegal immigrants. He’s not afraid to call out Biden for breaking the promise to protect states from invasion, as outlined in the U.S. Constitution.
The current border crisis is the result of Biden’s failed policies, and Abbott is not backing down. He adamantly believes in Texas’ right to self-defense, citing Article IV, § 4 of the Constitution, which promises federal protection against invasion, and Article I, § 10, Clause 3, which acknowledges the states’ sovereignty in protecting their borders.
Abbott is not just talking the talk – he’s also walking the walk. He has put the Texas National Guard, Department of Public Safety, and other state officials to work to secure the border. Despite federal opposition, Abbott is determined to do whatever it takes to protect Texas.
In addition, Abbott has been relentless in confronting Biden’s ludicrous border policies, which have led to a surge of illegal immigrants flooding into the country and being released into the interior. He has repeatedly called out Biden’s failure to uphold immigration laws and his reckless encouragement of illegal immigration.
In the face of federal resistance and lawsuits, Abbott remains steadfast in his commitment to defending Texas’ border. He is not afraid to challenge the Biden administration and hold them accountable for their damaging immigration policies.
