Texas Governor Greg Abbott, a beacon of common sense in a sea of liberal lunacy, took to the New York Post to school the Biden Administration on how to actually handle a crisis – in this case, the disaster at our southern border. Abbott, a true patriot looking out for the Lone Star State, laid down some serious knowledge about states’ rights and the Constitution, pointing out that the feds should take a back seat while Texas deals with the influx of illegal immigrants flooding our borders.

Abbott knows what’s up when it comes to keeping Texas safe, and he cited the wisdom of the Founding Fathers like James Madison and John Marshall to make his case. These guys were all about states having the power to defend themselves, whether it’s against smugglers back in Madison’s day or the hordes of illegal aliens invading our border today. It’s clear as day that states like Texas need to have the ability to protect their sovereignty, and Governor Abbott is not afraid to say it loud and proud.
The Governor made a compelling argument that the surge of illegal immigrants across our border is nothing short of an invasion, and he’s absolutely right. The Democrats may try to downplay the seriousness of the situation, but Abbott isn’t having any of it. With 24 other Republican governors backing him up – including Alaska’s own Governor Dunleavy, chiming in for the good fight – Abbott is leading the charge to get the federal government off their duffs and do something about this mess.
Let’s face it, folks – the Democrats aren’t exactly rushing to fix the border crisis because, well, it’s kinda working out in their favor. By shuffling illegal aliens into blue states and cities, they’re not only beefing up their Census numbers for that sweet House of Representatives reapportionment, but also potentially tilting the balance of power in their favor. It’s a shady move, and we can bet our bottom dollar that this is all part of their sneaky plan.
As the southern border continues to be a thorn in America’s side, it’s up to heroes like Governor Abbott to step up and take charge. The Biden Administration may be dragging their feet on this issue, but Abbott isn’t waiting around for them to get their act together. The Constitution clearly spells out the rights of states to defend themselves, and Abbott is ready to fight tooth and nail for Texas. You can bet that when 2024 rolls around, the border crisis will be front and center – and Abbott will be there, holding Biden accountable for his inaction.
