In a recent cycling event, two men who identify as “transgender women” took the top spots, leaving actual women in the dust. Tessa Johnson, formerly known as Michael, snagged the gold in the women’s Single Speed category, while Evelyn Williamson, previously known as just a regular ol’ guy, settled for silver. It’s like the Olympics, but for letting men steal glory from women!
Two Men Competed in a Women's Cycling Race. Here's What Happened Next.

Apparently, this isn’t the first rodeo for these “transgender women.” Last year, Williamson won first place in a women’s event and didn’t even place in the men’s competition. It’s like they’re saying, “If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em – and then beat ’em again, but as a woman!” It’s almost too funny – until you remember that women are getting shafted out of opportunities and prize money.
And as if that wasn’t enough, Riley Gaines, a women’s sports advocate who knows a thing or two about competing against transgender athletes, was rightfully outraged. She even offered to cough up her own money to cover any prize money lost by real women in these races. Now that’s what I call putting your money where your mouth is!
Even Megyn Kelly, known for speaking her mind, called the whole situation “infuriating.” And she’s not wrong – it’s infuriating to see men with a clear physical advantage taking away opportunities from real female athletes.
But wait, there’s more! This isn’t the first time these two have stolen the show from women. Just a couple of months ago, they did the same thing at the Chicago Cyclocross Cup. These guys are like the gift that keeps on giving – if your idea of a gift is women getting the short end of the stick.
It’s clear that this is becoming a pattern in the world of cycling. And if nobody stands up to this, it’s going to keep happening. These “transgender women” are taking advantage of their physical strength to win against actual women. It’s time to put an end to this madness and make sure that women’s sports remain fair and equal. Let the real women race, and let the men find their own competition to dominate!
