Trump Lawyer Takes Shot At Ron DeSantis Ahead Of ‘Big Announcement’

For over a year now, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been living rent-free in President Donald Trump's head. During a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday, Trump called the popular governor a "Ron DeSsanctimonious" individual.

The sophomoric name-calling that Trump has been doing during the campaign has started. Rumors had been swirling that he would finally unveil his long-awaited "The Big Announcement" during a Saturday night rally for J.D. Vance, the Republican candidate for Ohio's Senate. However, instead of making an announcement, Trump teased an anticlimactic event at his Mar-a-Lago resort on November 15.

According to a report by the New York Post, Trump lawyer Alina Habba said that DeSantis "needs to stay in Florida" until the president makes an announcement.

In response, Habba referred to Trump's infamous September boast that he "made" DeSantis his "great friend." She also called him an "ungrateful" individual.

Trump has reportedly grown increasingly concerned about the possibility that DeSantis could dethrone him and win the Republican nomination for president in 2024. The Florida governor has a lot of credentials and discipline, and I believe that Trump is genuinely afraid of him.

As Trump prepares to run for president in four years, DeSantis has emerged as his most likely challenger. If Trump believes in this, then his inner circle will do the same.

This is going to be very ugly, very soon. It will be a one-way street "Ron Desanctimonious" and Trump. The Florida governor is too smart and disciplined to go after the president.
