Former President Trump did not hold back in criticizing the Justice Department, accusing them of a “misuse of power” and calling it “election interference at the highest level.” In an interview with Fox News Digital, Trump vented his frustration over what he sees as harassment of his family and company.

Trump didn’t mince words when he called the charges against him “ridiculous.” He even went so far as to say that they are playing dirty now because he is the frontrunner in the 2024 White House race. According to Trump, if he wasn’t leading President Biden in the polls and likely to be the Republican nominee, this wouldn’t be happening.
The former president also expressed his concern about the state of the Justice Department, labeling it as “DOJ abuse.” He even urged the Republican Party to take action, saying, “Hopefully the Republican Party will do something about it.”
In the latest twist, Trump has been hit with additional charges from Jack Smith’s investigation into his alleged mishandling of classified documents. This superseding indictment includes charges of intentionally holding onto National Defense Information and obstruction counts. Trump has denied these charges and continues to defend himself against the ongoing investigation.
It’s clear that Trump sees these charges as politically motivated and targeted at his potential run for the presidency in 2024. The former president remains steadfast in his defense and confident in his prospects for the future.
