Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem just announced construction has started on seven new miles of border wall in Arizona. Workers are building the wall in the Rio Grande Valley area where the existing barrier ends. The federal government gave a $70 million contract to Granite Construction Company to get the job done. This project uses money Congress approved back in 2021 that Biden tried to block. Trump’s team is making sure every dollar gets spent protecting our nation.
Biden caused chaos by opening the borders during his presidency. Over four million illegal immigrants poured into the country under his watch. Cartels smuggled deadly drugs like fentanyl across unchecked zones. Now Trump is cleaning up the disaster by finishing the wall Biden refused to build.
