Circle back, folks! Special Counsel Jack Smith is at it again, slapping former President Trump with more charges that should surprise absolutely no one. These anti-Trump lawyers are getting pretty creative with their legalese, aren’t they?
So, what are the charges this time? Well, according to Spencer, there are four violations that Trump is being accused of. We have “Conspiracy to Defraud the United States,” “Conspiracy to Obstruct an Official Proceeding,” “Obstruction of and Attempt to Obstruct an Official Proceeding,” and my personal favorite, “Conspiracy Against Rights.” Talk about throwing everything at the wall and seeing what sticks!

But hold on just a minute, because Kimberley Strassel from the Wall Street Journal is here to drop some truth bombs. She says that this indictment is full of untested legal theories and double standards from the Department of Justice. And let’s not forget her point about political naivete. So, according to Smith, if a politician lies to the public and uses those lies to justify actions that undermine the government, they’re guilty of defrauding the country. Well, that’s just great. We might need to build a whole lot more prisons to hold all the dishonest politicians out there.
And guess what? Alan Dershowitz, the legal guru, is calling out Smith for conveniently omitting a key portion of Trump’s speech on January 6th. You know, the part where Trump specifically said, “I want you to demonstrate peacefully and patriotically.” But of course, Smith conveniently left that out and focused on the phrase “fight like hell.” Talk about playing fast and loose with the facts!
Dershowitz suggests that Smith could be charged with fraud himself for leaving out important details. And you know what? I agree with him. A lie by omission can be just as damaging as a lie by commission. It’s clear that Smith was trying to push his own narrative by repeating the same errors made by the House Democrats during Trump’s second impeachment trial. But hey, who needs accuracy and fairness when you’ve got a political agenda, right?
Now, here’s the kicker. There’s another indictment looming in Georgia. Trump and his legal team can’t ignore it, but they also want a lengthy trial. Why? Well, it’s simple. It increases Trump’s chances of reclaiming the GOP nomination in 2024. And let me tell you, folks, if there’s one thing the institutional Left fears, it’s a strong and resilient Trump. They want him as their opponent because they see him as weak. But with the emerging Biden bribery scandal, the equation has changed. Trump isn’t going anywhere, and he’s ready to fight for the truth.
So, buckle up, my fellow conservatives. The battle is far from over. We have a biased and politically motivated Special Counsel on one side, but we also have a former president who isn’t afraid to take them on.
