Trump Triumphs: Washington Judge Greenlights Ballot Access

In a major win for former President Donald Trump, a judge in Washington state has ruled in favor of allowing Trump to be on the 2024 presidential ballot. The Thurston County Superior Court Judge Mary Sue Wilson shut down a last-minute attempt to block Trump’s access to the ballot. She stated that the state’s Democratic secretary of state was acting within his duties by permitting Trump to be listed as a contender for the GOP.

The liberal groups and arms of the Democratic Party have been relentless in their efforts to keep Trump off the ballot, with lawsuits filed in 35 states. However, their efforts have seen minimal success, with only Colorado and Maine ruling against Trump’s eligibility. The Colorado ruling was particularly outrageous, as the state’s highest court deemed Trump ineligible for “committing insurrection.” In Maine, the Democratic secretary of state followed suit and refused to add Trump to the Republican primary ballot. This just goes to show the extent to which the Democrats will go to suppress the will of the people.

The upcoming U.S. Supreme Court hearing on February 8th will ultimately determine the fate of Trump’s ballot access. The leftists are pulling out all the stops, citing the events of January 6th, 2021, to argue that Trump should be disqualified from running for office under the 14th Amendment. However, the secretary of state in Washington has made it clear that he does not have the authority to remove Trump from the ballot, much to the dismay of the leftist coalition.

The Washington State GOP’s legal team has refuted the lawsuit on technical grounds and rightly pointed out that Trump has not been convicted of any crime, making his alleged ineligibility a moot point. Furthermore, Trump’s campaign has argued that only Congress has the power to determine his guilt for any alleged crimes committed in office. It’s clear that the Democrats are resorting to dirty tricks as Trump faces a staggering 91 felony charges across four criminal cases, with two of those related to the events of January 6th.

Even though President Joe Biden has been evasive on the matter, his Justice Department’s special counsel, Jack Smith, is working overtime to expedite the federal government’s trial against Trump. Their apparent fear is that if Trump were to be elected, he could potentially dismiss all charges against him, acting as if he’s above the law. It’s just more evidence of the Democrats’ unrelenting desire to thwart Trump’s return to power, no matter the cost to democracy.
