In his latest Twitter monologue, Tucker Carlson revealed what he believed was the real reason behind the federal arraignment of former President Donald Trump. It comes as no surprise to anyone that Trump has been charged with multiple counts relating to alleged mishandling of classified documents while he was still in office, but according to Carlson, this was all a part of a larger scheme to put him behind bars for the rest of his life.
The Fox News host claimed that the moment D.C. turned fully against then-candidate Trump was not related to immigration or trade with China, but rather when he criticized the invasion of Iraq and called it a costly mistake. Carlson explained that this sealed Trump’s fate, as it implicated too many people on both sides, ultimately making him a liability to everyone in power.
“It was pretty clear that even if he did get elected president, Trump was going to have a very hard time controlling the federal government he was supposed to be in charge of. Most of permanent Washington decided that thwarting Trump was the single most important mission in their lives, everything depended on it,” Carlson said.
He went on to claim that while some publicly declared their opposition towards Trump, others decided to get close to him to sabotage his presidency from within. Carlson was not surprised by the recent charges against Trump, as he believed it was always going to happen, and that this was merely the first step towards destroying his legacy.
In the eyes of this writer, the federal government has always been the largest and most powerful organization in human history, and so it is no wonder that it would conspire against a man like Donald Trump. It is clear that the federal arraignment of Trump is just another desperate attempt by the D.C. uniparty to silence their critics and maintain their grip on power. Let this be a warning to all those who dare to speak truth to power, you will be silenced, one way or another.
