President Trump has repeatedly called for a halt to this nonsense, urging senators to cancel their vacations and do their jobs. But despite his strong leadership, even some Republicans scurried home with their tail between their legs. It’s the same old tune. While Trump fights to Make America Great Again, Senate Democrats angrily stomp their feet, desperate to obstruct at any cost.
Senator Chuck Schumer’s latest move is a textbook case of political extortion. He tried to lever $1 billion in frozen aid and NIH funding against expedient confirmation proceedings for Trump’s crucial nominees. When will these liberal politicians stop putting their agenda above America’s welfare? Trump, refusing to bow to this pitiful blackmail, stood firm. His message to Schumer was loud and clear: America won’t be bullied by the Radical Left’s juvenile tactics.
While a few nominees squeezed through before senators skipped town, the Democrats continue to block talented individuals from these essential positions. Trump’s right—if George Washington or Abraham Lincoln themselves were nominated, the Democrats would waste no time in trying to tarnish their legacies too.
This isn’t just about delaying nominees; it’s about delaying progress.
