Will the FBI Finally Reveal Hunter Biden Evidence to GOP Committee

The FBI has finally come to its senses and will be briefing Rep. James Comer (R-KY) on Monday as part of the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into an alleged bribery plot involving then-Vice President Joe Biden. Comer has been pressing the clandestine agency to produce its FD-1023 form, which contains details of confidential interactions between agents and sources, but has largely been met with crickets so far. However, the FBI has now acquiesced and will be revealing confidential human source reporting to Comer and other members of the Oversight Committee.

The news comes after Comer claimed that a “highly credible” FBI whistleblower has come forward to say that the form sought contains evidence of President Biden accepting kickbacks in exchange for allowing family members to peddle influence in Washington on behalf of foreign companies. It’s shocking that the FBI has been so reluctant to produce this document as all signs point towards the fact that it could be vital for uncovering some potentially dubious dealings.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) spoke out against the FBI’s behavior, urging them to cooperate with Congress during this investigation, stating that the agency had failed to comply with a May 10 deadline to produce the FD-1023 form, despite being regulated by Congress. On top of this, special counsel John Durham has not even acknowledged to House Republicans whether or not he has seen the document, leaving many to wonder exactly what he’s hiding.

In response to the request for the FD-1023 form, Durham has stated that by producing it, the FBI would be validating its contents despite no evidence that the statements made are truthful. It’s a flimsy excuse that seems to be nothing more than an attempt to sweep whatever unseemly activities that may have been happening with the Biden family under the rug.

Since Republicans have taken control of Congress, they have been adamant about investigating and exposing the links between President Biden and his son Hunter Biden as part of nine family members accused of lobbying on behalf of foreign companies and not registering as foreign agents. Now, finally, with the FBI briefing the Oversight Committee, they may be one step closer to getting the answers they’ve been seeking.
