Biden and Harris may as well put their faces on a “Most Wanted” poster for the current turmoil in the Middle East. After billions were funneled to Iran under the guise of peace, Tehran’s leadership responded in the most predictable way—by launching an unprecedented missile drill that could easily be mistaken for a fireworks show gone horribly wrong. On Tuesday, Israel found itself squarely in the crosshairs of Iranian aggression as scores of missiles rained down, leading to the tragic loss of innocent lives and exposing the Biden administration’s flawed strategy.
In 2021, amidst rising gas prices that made Americans nostalgic for any semblance of affordability, Joe Biden’s face morphed into an unwanted caricature at gas stations everywhere with stickers proclaiming, “I did that.” Fast forward to now, and “I did that” could just as easily accompany news of a catastrophic day in Israel, where Iranian-backed terrorists decided to have a field day shooting at civilians. While Israel’s Iron Dome did its best to save the day, the reality is that Biden and Harris effectively armed the mullahs with cash, enabling their proxy wars and turning numerous regions into powder kegs.

As the 2024 elections loom—just 34 days away, to be exact—American voters face a clear decision: either continue the Biden-Harris nightmare or return to the policies that starved Iran of funds. Under former President Trump, the Iranian regime watched its coffers dwindle as American sanctions stripped them of vital resources. This strong approach not only struck a blow against their nuclear ambitions but also significantly dampened their penchant for exporting terror. The contrast couldn’t be starker—Biden pours money down a black hole while Trump cut off the spigot and forced Tehran to think twice before making its next move.
Even Democrats are flailing to distance themselves from their party’s fumbling foreign policy. After Iran’s puppets in Hamas executed an outrageous attack on October 7, 2023, killing over 1,200 Israelis, many members of the Democratic Party began making their best impressions of a dog trying to avoid a bath, all while backpedaling from the administration’s approach to Iran. Notable figures like Senator Joe Manchin openly criticized the $6 billion deal to unfreeze Iranian funds, which would inevitably find its way into the hands of terrorists eager to wreak havoc on innocents. No amount of spin could wash away the consequences of those decisions.
Meanwhile, Vice President Harris saw a sudden burst of clarity when she issued stern warnings about Iran but somehow forgot about her own administration’s financial aid to the regime. While Harris proclaimed her support for Israel’s right to defend itself, Secretary of State Antony Blinken simply suggested Israel practice restraint—a phrase that these days seems to mean, “Please don’t retaliate too hard while we sort out this mess.” The mixed signals continue to float from the Biden camp, leaving Israel in a lurch while its enemies grow bolder.
In their quest to impose ineffective diplomatic norms, the Biden administration’s approach has resulted in Iranian aggression escalating rather than decreasing. The recent missile barrage was a clear message that Tehran feels invincible, thanks to funding that, under the Trump administration, would have never made it to their coffers. Critics argue that as long as the U.S. maintains a weak stance, the cycle of violence will continue. One thing is clear: the American people deserve better than a leadership that considers weakness the path to peace.
