President Biden didn’t hold back this weekend when he took the mainstream media to task for its negative reporting on the economy. The 81-year-old leader expressed his frustration as he left the White House for Camp David, where he plans to spend the Christmas holiday.

Biden confidently assured reporters that the economy is “all good” and urged them to start reporting it “the right way.” Simply put, he’s had enough of the biased coverage and he’s not afraid to speak up about it.
Under Biden’s leadership, the economy has been heading south, and his approval rating reflects that. Currently, only 37.2% of Americans approve of his handling of the economy, while a whopping 59.7% disapprove, according to the latest RealClearPolitics average. Ouch!
From the moment Biden stepped into office, he’s been facing a barrage of economic challenges, including soaring inflation and supply chain disruptions. The economy has been a major headache for him, and it seems like no amount of wishful thinking can turn things around.
Despite some temporary relief, inflation is still running at 3.1% for the previous 12 months, higher than the 2% target set by the Federal Reserve. It’s not the rosy picture that Biden and his cronies want you to believe!
Biden and his allies are trying to put a positive spin on the economic disaster by promoting “Bidenomics.” However, it’s clear that their efforts aren’t fooling the American people, as the mixed reception shows.
Adding salt to the wound, former President Donald Trump has been getting better ratings than Biden on the economy. The 77-year-old Trump continues to be a thorn in Biden’s side, and it’s no secret that he’s gearing up for a potential election showdown in 2024.
During Biden’s brief exchange with reporters, the topic of Trump’s immunity from prosecution came up. When asked whether any president is immune from criminal prosecution, Biden sarcastically replied, “I can’t think of one.” It’s no surprise that the specter of Trump’s legal battles continues to loom over the political landscape.
In another twist, Trump’s attorneys have filed their initial brief on the matter with the DC Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court has rejected special counsel Jack Smith’s request for a speedy ruling. The legal drama never seems to end!
