In his first public statements since House Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced an impeachment investigation, President Biden seemed unfazed by the move and said he is still focused on serving the American people. He even laughed, "Well, I'll tell you what, I don't know why, but they knew they wanted to impeach me. And now, as far as I can tell, they want to get rid of me because they want to shut down the government." How can that be? They want to stop me from doing my job so badly that they are willing to do anything. But you know what? I won't let them get in the way.

Biden made it clear that he is not worried about the impeachment investigation, and he pointed out that Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has been calling for it since she got into office. Since Greene is known for making controversial and divisive comments, it's not surprising that she would join the impeachment movement. But while she's trying to get in the news, I'm focused on getting things done for the people of the United States. Biden said, "I have to do my job. Every single day, I have to deal with problems that touch the American people.
But the White House has been working hard behind the scenes to shape the story. The White House Legal Counsel's Office sent a letter to major news outlets telling them to look into House Republicans who started an impeachment investigation based on lies. They want the media to report more honestly and not make false comparisons. Now, I'm all for holding people in power responsible, but let's not forget that the media has a role to play as well. It's not their job to get people confused or push a certain cause. They need to stick to the facts and give a fair look at the situation.
As the investigation into impeachment goes on, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is sending all questions about impeachment to the office of the White House Counsel. It's clear that they want to plan their message carefully and control the story. But let's not forget that this whole impeachment thing is just another way for the Democrats to try to get rid of a Republican president who was elected fairly. People, it's all politics. They can't accept that we won the way we should have, so they're doing desperate things. But we won't give in. We will keep fighting for the American people and making America great again!
