Biden’s $10M Mystery: GOP Asks Where’s the Money From?

Republican lawmakers are questioning the obscure source of a $10 million income reported on Joe Biden’s 2017 tax return, given the ongoing bribery investigation involving the President. Despite Biden’s claims of transparency regarding his tax returns, doubts have emerged regarding the income associated with his S-Corporation. Biden’s tax returns from 2017 to 2019 show a total income of $15.6 million, which includes speaking fees and book deals.

One of the strongest critics, Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ), believes that Joe Biden should disclose all his financial information. He referred to credible allegations suggesting that a foreign individual had bribed the President of the United States to gain influence over U.S. policy decisions. Crane argued that the American public deserves to know who paid the Bidens and the specifics of what they paid for. He also claimed that the indictment of President Trump was intended as a distraction, particularly considering the payments made by Burisma to the Bidens.

The income of the Bidens has raised suspicions among Republican lawmakers due to Joe Biden’s limited release of individual tax returns. The significant income held by the S-Corporations, CelticCapri Corps, and Giacoppa Corps, is not disclosed in the individual returns. Sen. Ron Johnson, who co-authored a report on the Bidens’ income in 2020, stated that Joe Biden should reveal the source of this income. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) suggested that if Biden wants to demonstrate transparency, he should release unredacted bank records for himself and his family.

Jerry Allison, a certified public accountant at Allison Financial Services, supports the idea of examining both S Corporation returns to ascertain the actual income and gain insights into its origins. Republican lawmakers expressing concerns believe that Biden’s transparency regarding his tax returns may not be as comprehensive as claimed. The House Oversight Committee has issued a subpoena to Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s former business partner, to testify this week. However, if Joe Biden is unwilling to disclose the details about the Biden S-Corporations, Archer may provide the information. It is suggested that the FBI cannot shield him indefinitely.
