New Poll Confirms Americans Disapprove of Biden’s Handling of the Economy
In a recent survey conducted by CBS, it was revealed that President Biden’s handling of the economy has hit an all-time low, with only 40 percent approval amongst Americans. Despite the media’s constant emphasis on “macro stats” like GDP growth and stock gains, the public remains unconvinced that things are going well under Biden’s leadership. It’s fascinating how the media chooses to downplay the public’s concerns, isn’t it? Republican administrations would never receive such biased treatment, of course!
Why are Americans feeling so disheartened, you ask? Well, maybe it has something to do with Biden’s reckless spending and disregard for warnings from economists, even those within his own party. His trillions of dollars in reckless spending has led to skyrocketing inflation, with prices still rising at double-digit rates since he took office. Sure, the White House may brag about slowing inflation, but the fact remains that prices are still going up. We need inflation to go down, not just slow its pace. It’s like we’re driving in the wrong direction but somehow celebrating that we’re going slower. How absurd!

The Biden administration seems blind to the fact that while there may be some positive aspects of the economy, such as the job market, people’s personal experiences tell a different story. A staggering 70 percent of Americans believe their incomes are not keeping up with inflation, despite Biden’s misleading claims. The majority of voters feel like they’re treading water financially, and more than a third feel like they’re falling further behind. Only a mere 13 percent believe they’re “getting ahead.” These statistics clearly show that the public’s everyday struggles overshadow any brighter economic indicators.
Meanwhile, President Biden seems to be living in a different reality. While Vice President Harris highlights the financial vulnerability of many Americans, Biden travels to Maine and talks about an economic comeback. It’s embarrassing to see him try to blame Republicans for wanting to impeach him because inflation is slightly less severe than before. His lackluster delivery of that line only adds to the cringe-worthy nature of his claims. And to make matters worse, Democratic surrogates continue to defend Biden and deny any wrongdoing on his part.
Take Democratic Senator Chris Murphy, for example. He insists there is “zero evidence” that Biden can’t do his job and dismisses accusations of corruption as a “witch hunt.” It’s clear that Murphy is either blind to the mounting evidence or simply choosing to ignore it. But then again, that seems to be the modus operandi of many Democrats these days.
It’s high time we acknowledge the truth – the American people are dissatisfied with how President Biden is handling the economy. This latest poll is just another confirmation of what many conservatives have been saying all along. The Biden administration’s policies are not benefiting the average American, and it’s about time they take responsibility for the consequences of their actions. Let’s hope that voters remember these findings when it comes time to cast their ballots in the next election.
