President Joe Biden has once again displayed a shocking lack of self-awareness by choosing Valley Forge, Pennsylvania as the location for his recent speech marking the anniversary of the January 6th Capitol riot. The irony here is so thick you could cut it with a butter knife.
Valley Forge, of all places! The site of one of the darkest periods in the Revolutionary War where the Continental Army persevered through unfathomable hardships. It’s almost too perfect that Biden chose this historic battleground to preach about the so-called “insurrection” at the Capitol.

It’s hard to believe that the president thinks he can win over Republican voters by slamming former President Trump at a location synonymous with American perseverance and triumph in the face of adversity.
But perhaps it’s not surprising, as the mainstream media continually downplays the events of January 6th, unwilling to acknowledge that it was not an attempt to overthrow the government, but a protest against government overreach that spiraled out of control.
Valley Forge holds a special place in American history, representing a crucial turning point in the Revolutionary War, where George Washington’s leadership and the resilience of the Continental Army ultimately led to victory.
Biden’s choice of location is not just ironic; it’s downright tone-deaf. Maybe he should brush up on his history before picking his next backdrop for political grandstanding.
