Biden’s Power Grab: Admits Failure, Wants More Control

In a stunning admission of his own incompetence, President Joe Biden declared that he has exhausted all his options to solve the border crisis. But fear not, dear readers, because he just needs more power! Yes, you read that correctly. Biden, the great problem-solver that he is, simply needs more power to address the situation. It’s like a superhero asking for an extra dose of superpowers to defeat the villain. Except, in this case, the villain is illegal immigration, and Biden seems to be helping it thrive.

When asked if he has done everything he can with executive authority on the border, Biden confidently responded, “I’ve done all I can do. Just give me the power.” Ah, yes, the classic plea for more power from a politician. Because we all know that giving politicians more power always leads to efficient and effective solutions, right? Well, at least that’s what Biden wants us to believe.

Meanwhile, congressional leaders and the White House continue to debate border initiatives, causing Biden’s supplemental funding package to stall. This package, which would allocate funds to Ukraine, Israel, and the southern border crisis, seems to be caught in the political crossfire. But shouldn’t solving the crisis at our own border be the top priority? One would think so, but apparently, Biden and his cronies have other things on their minds.

It’s worth noting that Biden introduced this supplemental package after a terrorist attack by Hamas on Israel. The package includes a whopping $61 billion for Ukraine, $14.3 billion for Israel, and a measly $13.6 billion for our own nation’s border crisis. Now, call me crazy, but shouldn’t our own citizens come first? Shouldn’t we be prioritizing the safety and security of our own country? But, alas, it seems that Biden’s priorities lie elsewhere.

And let’s not forget about the record-high numbers of migrant encounters at the southern border. In December 2023, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recorded over 300,000 encounters, the highest month on record. Yet, when pressed on the growing crisis, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre conveniently shifted the blame to Congress. She urged Congress to adopt Biden’s day-one immigration plan, as if that’s the magic solution to our border woes.

But we all know the truth, don’t we? Biden’s decision to reverse several of former President Donald Trump’s border policies on his very first day in office is directly responsible for the worsening crisis. He put a halt to the border wall construction and revoked deportation orders, sending a clear message that our borders are open for anyone and everyone to walk right in. And guess what? They did.

So here we are, watching as Biden desperately pleads for more power to fix a problem that he caused in the first place. It’s like watching a circus act, but instead of laughs, we’re left with broken promises and a border that’s bursting at the seams. Maybe, just maybe, Biden should focus less on gaining more power and more on taking responsibility for his own actions. But hey, what do I know? I’m just a lowly conservative news writer trying to make sense of this political madness.
