The Daily Wire recently uncovered that the Hayward Unified School District in the ultra-woke state of California has been getting pretty wild with its lesson plans and resources. It seems they’ve been going heavy on the gender theory and pushing to make child transgenderism the norm, all as part of their LGBTQ agenda.
The district, responsible for educating around 19,000 students, decided it was a brilliant idea to make kids watch some pretty out-there films and documentaries. One of these cinematic gems is a 12-minute short called “I’m Just Anneke,” which they’re suggesting for kiddos in grades 5 to 12. The description hypes up Anneke, a 12-year-old who’s into ice hockey and tomboy stuff. Apparently, everyone assumes she’s a boy, and she’s not sure if she wants to be a girl, a boy, or something in-between when she grows up. To help her figure things out, doctors put her on some meds to suppress hormones. Yeah, you read that right. They’re putting this in front of young impressionable minds.

But wait, there’s more! There’s another film called “Gender Matters: Transgender Youth,” which they’re pushing for grades 6 to 12. This gem is described as a bunch of short films about transgender and gender non-conforming young adults. And hey, why stop there? They’ve also got plans for kids in grades 8 to 12 to watch a film about how “gender messages shape young people’s daily decisions.”
Oh, and hold onto your hats, because they’re planning a “Pride Flag Ceremony,” complete with readings about LGBTQ figures and doling out ribbons, stickers, flags, posters, and “Protect trans kids shirts.” The teachers and staff haven’t been left out either, as they’ve been given over 90 different pro-LGBT resources, including lesson plans for creating gender expansive classrooms and trans-positive picture books for kindergarteners and up.
And it doesn’t stop there. This isn’t the first time the district has raised eyebrows. They’ve previously presented the Black Panthers as a misunderstood civil rights group, dropped $57,000 to cozy up with “Woke Kindergarten” to teach Critical Race Theory, and tossed another $23,000 at an outfit called Quetzal Education Services, which is all about that “anti-racist math pedagogy.” Sounds like they’re trying to pack an awful lot into the school day that has no place being there!
