California, the land of sunshine and liberal policies, is in deep trouble under the leadership of Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom. The nonpartisan Legislative Analyst’s Office (LAO) dropped a bombshell report, revealing that the deficit would be even worse than initially predicted at $58 billion. Where’s all that money going, you ask? Well, it seems like state revenues are taking a nosedive, expected to plummet by a jaw-dropping $24 billion. Talk about a financial rollercoaster!
But hey, it’s not all just numbers and graphs. People are actually fleeing the sinking ship that is California. Thousands of taxpayers are bidding farewell to the Golden State, and who can blame them?
