The upcoming truce between Israel and Hamas has got the conservatives talking! And boy, are they not happy about it! This news is about a temporary ceasefire starting at 7 a.m local time or midnight ET, and it’s making a lot of folks grumble. According to sources in Qatar, the notorious terrorist organization, Hamas, will be releasing 13 civilian hostages, including women and children, that they had snatched during their attack on Israel way back on Oct. 7. The hostages are set to be freed at 4 p.m., with their names being provided to the Israeli intelligence service, Mossad.
So, what’s the big deal, you ask? Well, for starters, this whole thing is being orchestrated by Qatar, and that’s not sitting well with the conservative crowd. Qatar has been mediating talks between Israel and Hamas, and let’s just say, conservatives are not thrilled that a country with questionable ties to extremist groups is playing a role in these negotiations. This whole situation is making folks on the right raise their eyebrows and shake their heads in disapproval.
But wait, there’s more! The truce was supposed to kick off on Thursday, but it got delayed because of some last-minute bombing by Israel in Gaza. And let’s just say, the conservatives are not too pleased about that either.
