Once again, the unconstitutional and unnecessary Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) finds itself in the news. This time, it’s all about their ongoing pay raise battle, which is just another twist in a long line of scandals and controversies. But what else would you expect from a rogue agency that shouldn’t even exist in the first place?
Here’s the scoop: union employees at the CFPB are up in arms because they’ve discovered that senior officials are getting hefty pay raises while the regular employees are being left behind. Talk about unfair! The CFPB claims that these pay bumps have nothing to do with broader wage talks, but come on, we all know better than that.

The CFPB and the National Treasury Employees Union have been going at it for a year now, trying to negotiate salaries. And guess what? This whole mess marks the expiration of the first-ever union contract in the CFPB’s history. It’s just more evidence of how out of control this agency is.
According to leaked emails and documents, it seems that while line employees and middle managers are being denied pay raises, the fat cats at the top are raking in the dough. Can you believe that some of these executives are making as much as $269,000? That’s more than what the average CEO in the United States makes! Talk about bureaucratic privilege!
But let’s not get sidetracked by these outrageous salaries. The real issue here is that the CFPB shouldn’t even exist in the first place. It was created through the economically illiterate brain of Elizabeth Warren, and it’s nothing more than a waste of taxpayer money. We need a president who will take a chainsaw to the federal budget and put an end to these unnecessary, unconstitutional agencies.
So let’s send these squabbling bureaucrats packing, shut down the CFPB, and start saving taxpayers some serious cash. It’s time to put an end to this Deep State nonsense and restore some sanity to our government.
